The volcanic slopes of Mount Argopuro in East Java produce high quality coffee beans. Cultivated between 1100-1500 meters above sea level, the coffee trees benefit from mineral-rich soil and an ideal climate, tended by local farmers. The main varieties grown are S795 and Kartika, known for their rich taste and aroma.

At the wet mill, the cherries are meticulously washed to remove residues. Skilled workers then sort them according to density into water channels, carefully inspecting each one to ensure top quality.

The selected cherries are laid out to dry in the sun for 11-13 days, turned and monitored regularly to ensure even drying. Once they have reached the perfect moisture level, the dried berries are sent to the dry mill in Driyorejo. There, the beans are de-husked and rigorously sorted according to size, defects and density. Only the most perfect and uniform beans are chosen for export.
