Konga Wete Webanchi is a washing station near the town of Wete in Yirgacheffe, where specialty coffee production goes hand in hand with supporting the local community. Built next to a school, the station works closely with teachers and staff to help improve access to education for local children.

Coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in their gardens and delivered to the station, where the cherries are carefully sorted and pulped. The beans are then wet-fermented for 12–24 hours, thoroughly washed and slowly dried on African beds for 10–15 days. Once dried, the coffee is stored in parchment to protect its quality until milling, when it undergoes further hand and colour sorting before being prepared for export.
